Bank Indonesia is the central bank of Indonesia, responsible for maintaining the national economic stability. Bank Indonesia is to appear consistent and trustworthy in communicating for public. Strong visual identity is fundamental manner to support Bank Indonesia positioning statement. Increasing public awareness and leading to constant public trust. We both redefine and rejuvenate BI visual appearance system. Seeking to the most established, in firm yet dynamic style which represents BI as the central bank.

As our endeavour to establish the positioning, we build the brand identity for central bank. We take some steps to discover the most suitable brand identity. Conducting initial inquiry and evaluation to the existing system. Reaffirming Bank Indonesia core values and its supporting attribute which contribute to reputation it's going to perform. The process continue by conducting some implementation planning. We both firmly believe that visual identity is a crucial element for Bank Indonesia as a central bank to support its publication and presentation. This to affirm its position, along with the missions and lived values. Setting a strategy to establish visual identity standard of Bank Indonesia which bring holistic rules of public communicate.

FACING THE CHALLENGE IS TO MEET THE BRAND PERCEPTION AND BRAND EXPRESSION.

Finding the common ground of Bank Indonesia brand expression and the audience brand perception. Crafting the visual communication to meet the audience expectation. Driven by perception research and trend-analysis approach, we assist the internal team to unbox the case together. Our work had been to weigh which is more beneficial for Bank Indonesia. To shift the entirely visual standard would lead to no effective process to reach the purpose. Weighing more to what public had an image on mind was what we chose to steadily act. We outperformed Bank Indonesia visual communication by arranging a set of visual guideline which is simpler, much easier to memorize, consistent, and digital-friendly.
